About Us
We’re a heavy civil contractor founded in 2018 by Neil Smith and Dennis Frederickson — built on decades of experience and a strong legacy in the industry.
Half a Century of Experience
Neil Smith brought over 50 years of experience in excavation, heavy civil construction, and agricultural projects. His extensive hands-on knowledge and dedication to quality laid the foundation of the company and continue to influence how we approach our work today.
Throughout his career, Neil successfully delivered projects of all sizes — from smaller scopes such as backfilling to large-scale operations involving crews of 50 or more, including major highway construction works.
Experience and Teamwork
Dennis Frederickson — much like Neil — brings over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, along with a strong and practical understanding of project management.
Following Neil’s passing, Dennis assumed full leadership of the company in 2022. Guided by the principles and standards established at the company’s foundation, Dennis has continued to lead the team through steady growth and ongoing success.
Dennis strongly believes in the principle that “you’re only as strong as your weakest link,” fostering a culture where team members are continuously learning and improving, making safe and efficient project delivery second nature.

We have built a strong reputation for excellence in heavy civil and earthworks, with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, schedule management, and safety.
This reputation has been earned through the successful delivery of a wide range of projects — from utility upgrades and bulk excavation to more specialized work, such as the Manitoba Yard Fuel Station.
