The UBC Applied Science Digital Design Studio project involves comprehensive site services and civil works to support a new academic facility within the University of British Columbia campus. Neil Smith Construction Ltd. is delivering a range of earthworks, excavation, trenching, and site preparation activities in accordance with UBC Technical Guidelines and sustainability requirements.
The scope includes erosion and sediment control, slab-on-grade preparation, footing excavation, mechanical and electrical trenching, and detailed backfill and compaction. All work is executed within a highly active institutional environment, requiring careful coordination with multiple disciplines and strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
