Parkcrest Elementary School in Burnaby, BC, has recently undergone a seismic upgrade to enhance the safety and security of its students, staff, and community members.
Neil Smith Construction was initially brought on board to handle the excavation and civil trade contract for the upgrade project. However, as the project progressed, the construction manager, Unitech, recognized the need for additional services and requested that our team provide them as well. This extra effort from Neil Smith Construction and its team helped to ensure that the seismic upgrade was completed to the highest standards and that the school could continue to provide a safe and secure learning environment for its students.
The project was an example of a successful partnership between the school district, contractor, and tradespeople, working together to achieve a common goal of enhancing the safety and security of the community's most valuable asset, its children.
