Neil Smith Construction is in charge of civil trade contract for a seismic upgrade of Firehall 12 in Kitsilano, Vancouver.
The project is a challenging one, as the Firehall has to remain operational throughout the upgrade process. Safety is a priority for both the Fire Hall staff and the residents of the surrounding neighborhood. To ensure the safety of all involved, Neil Smith Construction has implemented a comprehensive safety plan that included the use of specialized equipment and techniques.
The project is going to be completed on time and within budget, and the Firehall will be better equipped to withstand seismic activity.
The upgrade has provided peace of mind to the Fire Hall staff and the residents of the neighborhood, knowing that their safety is now better protected.
