Located in the heart of Surrey, this project involves the expansion of Guildford Park Secondary School, requiring significant underground utility upgrades and site works.
Given that this is an active school and a busy neighborhood, we prioritized safety, communication, and minimizing disruption to students, staff, and residents. Our work included the installation of new storm and sanitary sewers with manholes, watermain service connections, and an underground detention tank with flow control. We also managed excavation and removal of contaminated soil, paving of surrounding streets, and replacement of existing curbs, gutters, and sidewalks with new concrete infrastructure.
We recognize the importance of maintaining a clean and orderly job site in a school environment. Daily site management, traffic coordination, and dust and noise control measures were implemented to reduce impacts on the community. By working closely with the City of Surrey and project consultants, we ensured timely delivery of essential civil works that support the long-term growth of the school and its surrounding area.
