The William Cook Elementary School Modular Addition project involved comprehensive earthworks and civil works to support the installation of modular classroom facilities within an active school environment. Neil Smith Construction Ltd. was responsible for delivering the full civil scope, from initial site preparation through to final paving and restoration.
Work included earthworks, trenching for electrical and mechanical services, concrete works, and asphalt installation, all carefully coordinated with the modular building installation and other on-site trades. Due to ongoing school operations, construction activities were planned and sequenced to maintain safety, accessibility, and minimal disruption to students and staff.
Neil Smith Construction Ltd. provided both execution and supervision of the civil works, ensuring quality control, schedule alignment, and compliance with school district, municipal, and safety requirements. Close coordination with Unitech Construction Management and the School District supported a smooth and efficient delivery of the project.
This project highlights Neil Smith Construction Ltd.’s experience in delivering complex civil scopes for institutional and educational facilities, particularly within live school settings.
